Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to ecofort ag.

Privacy is a matter of trust, and your trust is important to us. We respect your personality and privacy. We also want to ensure the protection and lawful processing of your personal data.

It is important to us that you consent to the processing of your personal data. With this privacy policy, we provide you with comprehensive information about our data processing methods. You decide whether you want your personal data to be processed.

When we talk about processing your personal data in this privacy policy, we mean any handling of your personal data. This includes, for example: storage, management, use, transfer, and deletion.

We collect personal data to provide better services to our customers. We believe that aligning our activities with the wishes and needs of our customers should make daily life easier. Better services may include:

  • Aligning the product range with customer needs
  • Personalizing customer communication so that you find offers that suit your preferences and receive less advertising overall
  • Simplifying processes such as purchases or bookings, so you reach your goal faster

Credit Check for Purchase on Invoice

When we provide advance payment, such as in the case of purchasing on invoice, we may obtain a credit report from Intrum to protect our legitimate interests. Intrum AG is one of the leading providers of solutions in the areas of credit risk management, fraud prevention, and address maintenance in Switzerland.

For this purpose, we transmit the necessary personal data for a credit check to Intrum and use the information received about the statistical probability of a payment default to make a balanced decision regarding the establishment, execution, or termination of a contractual relationship with you.

Transfer of Data for Order Processing and Fulfillment

To fulfill the contract, we pass on your data to the shipping company responsible for the delivery, as far as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods.

Depending on which payment service provider you choose during the order process, we pass on the collected payment data to the payment institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to the commissioned payment service provider or the selected payment service. Some payment service providers also collect this data themselves if you create an account with them. In this case, you must log in with your credentials during the order process. The privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies in this regard.
